LEADERS UNITE TO CELEBRATE AFRO-PUERTORICAN HERITAGE AT "LA MAGIA DE LOS TAMBORES" EVENT

KISSIMMEE, FL 06/25/2022 — Representatives from the Institute of Afrodiasporic Studies (IEAFRO), based in Venezuela, joined the Escuela de Bomba y Plena Tata Cepeda (EBPTC) recently to celebrate the cultural milestone event, "La Magia de los Tambores" (The Magic of the Drums).
The gathering highlighted the deep-rooted connections within the Afro-Latino community and the ongoing mission to preserve and promote Afro-Puerto Rican traditions through music and dance. The event served as a platform for cultural leaders to reinforce their commitment to honoring ancestral roots and fostering unity among Afro-descendant organizations.
The occasion featured key leadership figures dedicated to these cultural efforts, including:
