ASSASINATION OF GEORGE FLOYD BY MINNEAPOLIS POLICE

In what is probably one of the most egregious violations of #HUMANRIGHTS recently recorded on video, #GEORGEFLOYD, a 46-year-old #AfricanAmerican man, died after being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by a #MINNEAPOLIS police officer’s knee on Monday #May25th 2020. #FLOYD's death disturbingly echoed that of #ERICGARDNER'S in 2014; both victims died claiming #ICANTBREATHE.

The nature of the video, which has already been seen by more than 100 million people, is so graphic that we don't even dare to publish it. The aftermath saw the Minneapolis #AFRICANAMERICANCOMMUNITY rush to the streets in a protest that brings to memory the #RODNEYKINGCASE, back in the 90s, and has been witnessed by the world.

Today we cry and mourn with the #FLOYDFAMILY.
